Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Midway City Council on Tuesday, 18 January 2022, 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, Midway Community Center (160 West Main Street, Midway) and using Zoom (Instructions for participation can be found at www.midwaycityut.org). Time will be allowed for public comment regarding the following items:

Ordinance 2022-02 / Setbacks in Residential Zones (City Planner – Approximately 60 minutes) – Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2022-02 amending Chapters 16.7, 16.8, 16.9, 16.10, 16.11, and 16.12 of the Midway City Municipal Code regarding setbacks for residential zones. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission.

Ordinance 2022-03 / PUDs (City Planner – Approximately 60 minutes) – Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2022-03 amending Chapter 16.16 (Planned Unit Developments and Subdivision) of the Midway City Municipal Code regarding Planned Unit Developments. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission.

Ordinance 2022-04 / Rural Preservation Subdivisions (City Planner – Approximately 30 minutes) – Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2022-04 amending Section 16.18 (Rural Preservation Subdivision) of the Midway City Municipal Code regarding rural preservation subdivisions. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission.

Ordinance 2022-05 / Certificates of Zoning Compliance (City Planner – Approximately 15 minutes) – Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2022-05 amending Chapter 16.24 (Enforcement and Zoning) of the Midway City Municipal Code. Recommended by the Midway City Planning Commission.

Annexation Notice

A petition has been filed proposing annexation of an area into Midway City. On 20 April 2021, the Midway City Council received notice of certification of the annexation petition, from the Midway City Recorder, pursuant to Utah Code Section 10-2-405(2)(c)(i). The complete petition for annexation is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Midway City Recorder, 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049. Midway City may grant the petition for annexation and annex the area described in the petition unless by the end of business hours on 20 May 2021 a written protest to the petition is filed with the Wasatch County Boundary Commission at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032 by an entity authorized to file such a protest, and a copy of the protest is delivered to the Midway City Recorder at 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049.
