What is a financial audit?
Financial auditing is an accounting process used at Midway City. It uses an independent body to examine the city's financial transactions and statements. The ultimate purpose of financial auditing is to present an accurate account of the city's financial transactions and also that the accounts they are presenting to the public are accurate and justified.
The financial auditing process usually takes places once a year, most commonly at the end of the financial year. All financial aspects of the city are inspected.
