Notice of Public Hearings

Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Midway City Council on Tuesday, 3 March 2019, 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, Midway Community Center, 160 West Main Street, Midway, Utah. Time will be allowed for public comment regarding the following items:

Albert Kohler Legacy Farm / Donation – Discuss and possibly approve a donation for the preservation of open space at the Albert Kohler Legacy Farm located at River Road and Burgi Lane.

Resolution 2020-05 / Resolution Authorizing Sale of Bonds – Discuss and possibly approve Resolution 2020-05 authorizing the sale of general obligation bonds for the preservation of open space.

Resolution 2020-04 / Amend FY 2020 Budget (Financial Officer) – Discuss and possibly approve Resolution 2020-04, amending the Midway City FY 2020 Budget, to approve and fund an update to the Midway City Impact Fee Facilities Plan and to adjust expenditures for various capital projects.

Ordinance 2020-06 / P-160 Zone – Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2020-06 adding the P-160 zone to Title 16 (Land Use) of the Midway City Municipal Code.

Annexation Notice

A petition has been filed proposing annexation of an area into Midway City. On 21 January 2020, the Midway City Council received notice of certification of the annexation petition, from the Midway City Recorder, pursuant to Utah Code Section 10-2-405(2)(c)(i). The area proposed for annexation is located at 600 South Fox Den Road. The boundaries of the area proposed for annexation are defined in the following description:

BEGINNING AT A SET REBAR WITH CAP IN A FENCE INTERSECTION, SAID POINT BEING LOCATED NORTH 32.37 FEET AND EAST 1717. 61 FEET FROM THE WEST QUARTER CORNER OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 4 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE MERIDIAN;

AREA = 24.16 ACRES

The complete petition for annexation is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Midway City Recorder, 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049. Midway City may grant the petition for annexation and annex the area described in the petition unless by the end of business hours on 20 February 2020 a written protest to the petition is filed with the Wasatch County Boundary Commission at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032 by an entity authorized to file such a protest, and a copy of the protest is delivered to the Midway City Recorder at 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049.
